Took great care of me! Proactively called me to to offer me an upgrade for No additional charges! Very polite and friendly!
People are great and work hard to help but Hertz the company doesn't support them by having good cars and the right cars available or even any when needed. The employees work hard! With little company support and that is at many Hertz locations..Fairfield is another where no company support! But employees great and helpful..
Whatever you do don't go there. Pick any other place. They didn't have anything available despite the reservation. And did not offer any solutions.
I would have given them more than 2 stars because the pickup and drop-off process was seamless, and the staff were helpful. However, the fact that they never informed me about the $9.99-per-day toll usage fee is unacceptable, and I am not the only one that has complained about it in the reviews. A couple of weeks after returning the rental, I received an email charging me $35 in tolls plus a $70 “convenience fee” from PayPlate, the third-party company they use to process toll payments. 1 star (beause I couldn't put 0 star). Extremely frustrating experience with this Hertz location. I returned my rental car on time, but the contract was never properly closed in their system. I’ve been getting charged $99 per day even after the vehicle was already returned. On top of that, there’s no way to directly reach this location—calls don’t go through or get redirected, and customer service has been slow and unhelpful.
