Absolutely the worst rental experience ever. The front desk guy was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. We booked a gas car, but they gave us a half-dead EV with an expired state inspection sticker instead. We had to call AAA twice — once in the middle of the night and again the next morning — because the battery was so bad. We spent the entire trip hunting for fast chargers, having to charge FIVE times between pickup and drop-off. It completely ruined our trip. When I rented the car, the woman giving me paperwork neglected to tell me that I’d had the option of using my own EZ-pass transponder during the month I had the car. She also neglected to provide me with one from Hertz. This led to me being charged $150 a month later from Platepass for her error, and I didn’t receive any kind of compensation, customer service, or even a phone call from hertz! All the other bad reviews on here point definitely towards a trend about this place.
