I have been a customer for years with Hertz, but my last rental with Hertz was not what I was expecting. The office was closed, and I was not informed that they were going to be closed. The day before I was sent an email and text to remind me of my rental. No where in the text or email was I informed that the local office would be closed. Not only did I have to contact the 1-800 number but my reservation had to change locations and I was charged more. I do not think I will be doing business with Hertz anymore.

This was my first time renting from the PHF location and as a Hertz Gold Member it was disappointing. The desk seemed abandoned outside of an employee’s water bottle. Another Hertz Gold Member and I had to find someone to confirm the location was open. After about 10 minutes a Hertz employee found a desk agent. The vehicle I received was adequate, but the fuel level was less than stated on my rental receipt.

Of all the rental car services available at PHF, Hertz is by far the best one. I've used each rental car service (Enterprise, Avis, Dollar, etc.) multiple times for work trips, and occasionally several for leisure. For the other car rental places (especially Dollar), I end up waiting a really long time for service (whether it's car availability or people idly talking behind the counter).
