Does not exist. The app, your map and your reservation will say this location but it literally does not exist. You have to walk to the George st location. Neither phone numbers reach a human being. (As noted by other reviews)
It does not exist at the New Haven Amtrak station. You must walk 15 minutes through the city with your bags to find this Hertz.
Would leave 0 if I could. This isn’t even remotely at the union station but 1 George street, 10-15 min walk from the train station. Employees at hertz don’t care and say it’s “Amtrak’s fault and it’s in the small print on hertz website that it’s 1 George street” yet I booked on hertz’s website and all the reminder emails from hertz were stating 50 union avenue. The attendant I dealt with upon arrival for pick-up was great. He was very kind and walked me through the process of collecting the pictures of the state of the car. However, for the return process, the guy parking the cars in the gate came up to the car and without introducing himself said I could just hand him the keys. Although he was a Hertz employee, it was strange. I went inside to confirm that I had returned the car and asked for drop-off service to the Amtrak station that this location is supposed to service. Seriously. The app and the map both say that there is a hertz location here. Your reservation will say it, too. No such thing, and nothing to tell you where to go. And, if you call you cannot get a human, so that won’t help you either. Good thing the New Haven train station has human information people, who I am sure are tired of directing Hertz customers over to George Street. It’s not a long walk, but I wouldn’t do it at night or in bad weather. Do better Hertz.
