This location is atrocious. Some of the absolute worst customer service I have ever encountered. I have been trying to call them for over two hours. The phone just rings and rings. No one answers and there is no call back system. I've been to this location in person and seen firsthand the employees endlessly ignoring a ringing phone (as well as other customers sitting right in front of them).
Does not exist. Reservations made for Hertz Union Station are actually at George street location. Use Avis instead for a rental location at Union station.
The services is bad. This people dont answer the phone. I rented a car monday, wednesday I need to bring to the firestone to fixed. The transmisión is bad. And Know I dont have a car I cant able to give me another car because they dont have nothing. How I have able to work and due my staff. If I dont have a car know I need to wait until monday to firestone fixed my car. Honestly is no far because I paid forvmy car. That's no my fault the car is broked. Honestly this place is bad. I want my car soon.
As mentioned, Hertz does not have facilities at this location. The website and app will let you make a reservation here but it does not exist. Do not book.
There is no Hertz car rental at the New Haven Amtrak Station. If you access the Hertz website, it will arrange pickups and drop offs from this location, even though Hertz has no facilities at the train station. The nearest Hertz location is at 1 George Street, New Haven, CT, which is several blocks away. DON'T BE MISLED BY THE HERTZ APP AND WEBSITE!!!!!
