I had a terrible experience with the Hertz location on Briley Parkway in Nashville, Tennessee. I had prepaid my rental in full and had a reservation to pick up my vehicle at 9:00 a.m. Unfortunately, our Delta flight was delayed, causing us to miss our connection in Seattle. Prepaid, showed up, no car, then charged a $200 "no-show" fee I had a prepaid reservation at the Hertz on Briley Parkway in Nashville and arrived at 4pm as planned. When I got there, I was told there were no cars available: they were short on inventory and waiting on returns that hadn't come in. I wasn't the only one affected; other customers were in the same situation, stuck with no vehicle despite having reservations. Terrible customer service. If I could give zero stars, I would. They accepted my same-day reservation through the website, but when we arrived to pick up the car, the gentleman at the front desk told us they had no cars available — especially for customers who reserved “just this morning.” What kind of response is that?
