Terrible customer service. If I could give zero stars, I would. They accepted my same-day reservation through the website, but when we arrived to pick up the car, the gentleman at the front desk told us they had no cars available — especially for customers who reserved “just this morning.” What kind of response is that? I met these people when they worked at old hickory. The large lady with the tattoos when I went to rent my uber to use was very unprofessional and rude. Vaping right in front of me, attitude and when I returned the car and the computers were down said I had to wait for the system to come back on before I could’ve return the car and after I explained I have to catch an uber to BNA she told me I was being rude for simply stating that I’d miss my flight if they didn’t let me leave my key and leave. Manager Marcus Montgomery needs to be replaced. Reading the previous reviews, not the only one, which makes me question Hertz as a company to allow for such terrible representation of their brand, management and customer service. My pick-up time was 10am. We took Uber from our hotel as we were renting car to travel up into Kentucky from Nashville. We walked in and Marcus was at front desk. No hello. No warm greeting. Awful experience dealing with this specific location. I was dealing with Marcus, who was extremely rude. Didn’t answer any of my questions when I tried to ask. If you want to use your debit card to pay the deposit it goes up to $500 instead of $200 for a credit card. But when I asked if I could use the same card I pre paid the reservation with for the $200 deposit, Marcus said yea. Awful service. We prepaid for an SUV to be picked up at 3pm. We arrived from the airport at 3:15 and they said they were waiting on cars. By 5 they offered an electric car or a 12 passenger cargo van. Since we were driving to Florida with 4 people I didn’t want the electric car and the cargo van wouldn’t fit in the parking garage at our hotel.
