Avoid at all cost. Didn’t have the car we reset and just blew us off “that’s just how it is…”. When they offered a smaller car they wouldn’t adjust the amount Made no attempt to make it right

I recently booked a rental car through Hertz, planning to pick it up at Grand Strand Airport and drop it off at Myrtle International. Just two days before my trip, I received a call from Hertz informing me that they would not have a car available at Grand Strand and that I would need to travel 35-40 minutes to the other airport to pick up the car. Terrible. I rent from Hertz monthly, never had an issue like I had tonight. Rent a “GMC Yukon or equivalent”, I get to the counter, “Hi Mr. Aldrich, you have a Jeep Wagoneer.” Ok great! “Mr Aldrich, there’s a problem with the key”. 26 minutes later, “Sorry Mr Aldrich, the wagoneer needs an oil change, but we’ll give you this Hyundai Palisades, which is 7 seats (if you’re a midget), and the equivalent of a Yukon”.
