The manager, Ty, is a fantastic human. Ty is the reason I continue to rent from the Mentor location. Goes the extra mile to ensure your vehicle is clean, ensures I have the best vehicles available for my business meetings, and I feel like more than a customer here...I feel like family. Great service! HERTZ is willing to work with you and your insurance company to keep you rolling! I got my rental at a different place and it was not a problem returning it closer to home in Mentor! HERTZ Thanks for the help! HERTZ is still a service oriented company!
Arrived 15 minutes early to pick up a 10am Saturday morning rental. Unfortunately, Hertz had not one car available even though I had made the reservation a week prior. The manager had no idea when one would be available. With several others waiting on vehicles for almost an hour, Hertz could have easily called and said nothing was available. Incompetence at its finest and what a waste of time for the customer! Will be headed to Enterprise from now on as I have never had this problem with the the Mentor Avenue location.
