This is the seventh circle of hell. First of all, the parking lot is SO dangerous - a blind, one lane, two-way entry/exit. Next, there was no one there when we arrived and a sign was posted "be back in 30 minutes or less" with no stated time. We went back 45 minutes later and STILL there was no one there. I rented a minivan online in April for a July trip. There was an option to input my age during the rental confirmation, which was under 25 at the time. I received minimal communications but had a confirmation to go pick it up. When I went, I was informed that Hertz does not rent minivans to drivers under 25, which was not shown on the website, when I was renting the vehicle, or at any time up until the time when I actually went to rent the vehicle in Marlborough. Zero stars- but Google won’t allow it. Booked reservation confirmed it on website. Showed up. No car. I was told they operate on a first come first serve basis. I looked around to see that I was only one there. Do not use them. Even if you have a confirmation number. You may or may not have a car.
Very disorganized. The workers are helpful. They need to hire more people. There was one person doing everything.
