Booked a car online days in advance; my fiancé got there and they said they didn’t have the car. The said they had one car left, and somehow we got UPCHARGED instead of discounted for their lack of inventory and awareness. Most rental agency’s will accommodate you for situations like that, but not Hertz!
Terrible customer service with poorly kept vehicles. Car returned but contract kept open for 4 days because their electric car's battery was dead- 4 days pass and you don't charge your company vehicle? Great manager! I should have read the reviews before booking.
I have never had an issue picking up a car from Hertz. They have always been clean, well maintained, and ready to go when I come in.
