I made a 5pm reservation. I arrived at approximately 330pm. Employee greeted me, said because I was early she needed to help others first. No worries on my early arrival I told them. I can wait. Finally, it's nearly 5pm so it's my turn. Then I'm told we have no gas cars available. That's what my reservation was for. I don't have time for an electric vehicle. This is the worst Hertz location I’ve ever rented from, and I’ve used multiple locations for Uber rentals with zero issues. Despite having a confirmed reservation, they did not have the vehicle I requested available upon arrival. The only option they offered was an electric vehicle, which I reluctantly accepted and ended up being a major inconvenience. I returned the vehicle early at 8:00 AM on Monday, well before it was due. It was a Sunday and office was closed.
Very disappointing experience. I reserved a car through the website, but when I arrived they told me they had no cars available. What made it worse was the attitude and demeanor of the staff—very disrespectful and unprofessional. They even spoke rudely to the customer service representative on the phone. To top it off, they had me go through all the paperwork and charged my credit card, only to immediately say they had nothing available.
