I recently returned a rental car at this Hertz location in Lawrence, NJ and received outstanding customer service from Lucy, the manager. She went above and beyond to make the return process quick, easy, and stress-free. I am so disappointed!!! My brother made the reservation through Expedia, yet they didn't even bother to notify us that there were no cars available that day nor were they able to offer me any solution. To this day, I still haven't received a refund; furthermore, they haven't even updated their records to reflect that I never actually rented from that location, since I was forced to scramble and find another rental agency at the very last minute!!
The manager at this location is a nightmare, constantly raising her voice and losing her temper. I don’t know if she was dialing my number wrong, but for whatever reason when she couldn’t get through And finally did, she started yelling at me. This location massively overcharged me, Especially considering insurance was supposed to cover it, But they over billed me.
