Had a reservation. Showed up to get my rental and was told I needed a credit card. Had a debit with more than enough funds and they refused. Thats ok though, you just saved me money instead of spending it on a rental with yall, I used my own. Can go screw someone else over. Nowhere did it say a credit card was REQUIRED. I wouldnt have reserved it if I knew that knowing i had no credit card, duh?

I want to thank Ms. Sylvanna Brown for her help during a very stressful experience. I rented a car from the Grand Rapids Hertz, caught a nail in a tire on a road trip, and requested to switch my rental car at Lansing. Ms. Brown went above and beyond helping me and my group find a replacement car that would fit all of us. Her can do attitude and comforting presence switched our day around! Thank you so much!! Great customer service.

This was the most terrible car rental experience I have ever had. Like Nancy, my flight arrived just after the Hertz counter had closed. There was no notification by email, text or even a note for me at the desk. I did not pick up a car and I called the agent the next morning to cancel the reservation. The agent refused to help me and I had to call a Hertz number and cancelled the reservation. However, I continue to receive pending charges of 142 dollars every day, for over two weeks now.
