I will not be coming back to Hertz in Kingsport. We had a reservation. The gentleman was rude and acted like he was above us. He demanded that we use a credit card to avoid the credit check and full coverage insurance verification. He was not very clear about what information that he needed. He kept saying, “ you know about such and such” without any explanation or context. After taking a lot of time, the gentleman says “you know about the $200.00 refundable deposit on top of your total. Lousy customer service! Had to leave my car at the auto body shop. Took them a full day to bring a rental from the airport to their office on Stone Drive. Rude on the phone. 2 guys in the office acted like they didn't care about anything, nor offered to call the airport rental office to see if they had a car that could be brought to me, or that I could go pick up there. Car finally available the next afternoon, when I picked it up, ot had not been cleaned from the previous renter. Will no longer attempt to rent from them. I'... read more

Many thanks to the help of Al at Hertz for assisting us 9-10-24 when a tire from an overpass came down and hit Hwy 81 and then our car headon. His kind, professionalism came just when we need it.
