This place is terrible, do yourself a favor and rent with someone else. Booked through Hertz nationwide and didn’t pay attention to the reviews, the “owner” or man that runs it has the worst attitude and or customer service. Just canceled my reservation with no other car option due to plane delay 1 hour. Here for 5 days with no car at all. DO NOT RENT from this place. STAY CLEAR if you want to enjoy your time here.
Hertz Juneau is unbelievably unreliable. They operate with basically one employee, so if that person calls in sick, your reservation means absolutely nothing. During peak season every other rental company is sold out, so you’re stranded with no backup options and forced to come back another day hoping they still have a car available. Except they won’t. Despite their failure to provide the reserved car, they cancel your booking as a “no show.” Customer support is completely useless and offers zero solutions or accountability.... read more
Similar to the overwhelming majority of other reviewers who have posted here, I had a very negative experience with this Hertz location. Other Hertz locations at airports elsewhere have been wonderful, but the safe/ownership at this location are deceptive if not outright dishonest -- by far the worst Hertz franchise I have ever dealt with.
