This place really is a scam and I encourage everyone who has been scammed to contact the Ohio office of the Attorney General to file a formal complaint. I was overcharged $80+ more than the original reservation. Upon checking in I pointed out that the estimated charge was $58 more than had been reserved and was told it would automatically be adjusted upon returning the car, but after I insisted they said they’d note it in the computer. First Chicago insurance is the absolute worst to deal with! The lady called the canceled the Pick-up. However, after coming out of pocket almost 2 grand for 2 weeks the staff are kind and quick with checking out and returning. Great place to rent a vehicle
Been on hold with this location for 4 rounds and they dont even give you a chance to talk, they just put you back on hold. Horrible customer service.

To Whom It May Concern, I am submitting a formal complaint regarding my recent rental experience with Hertz at the Columbus Airport location involving Rental Record #L61164574. After returning my vehicle, I was improperly charged a $400 cleaning/smoking fee without sufficient evidence or proper investigation.
