My grandma recently went to pick up a car they she was able to rent from on online and they tried to up charge her and was very rude .
If you’re not a U.S. citizen, watch out—they’ll scan your license with a machine to check if it’s legit. If your license doesn’t match Hertz’s database, you’re outta luck and can’t rent the car. This happens a lot with some countries, and the staff’s judgment means zilch; they treat you like you’re trying to pass off a fake ID. I canceled my reservation on the spot and rented a car from one of the agencies nearby.
