Huntington wv works with you on your rentals if you have a problem. Do not rent from Myrtle beach hertz . They are rude and try to charge you $299 a day! I had check engine light come on my rental , Myrtle beach didn’t want to fix problem had to get hertz of Huntington wv involved , which they did help to resolve and make mrytle beach switch vehicle but I was given a small suv Than I originally had and not as comfortable . I would Expect more from hertz overall ! All hertz should work together and have same policies .

We showed up with a confirmed reservation and they had cancelled our car without any notice, told us that they had nothing for us, and then left, refusing to help.

Showed up for my reservation that was booked over a week in advance. Received a confirmation email 48 hours prior to my reservation and when I showed up they tell me my reservation is cancelled. They have no cars to give me and now I’m stranded. What kind of a corporation unilaterally cancels my reservation without any notice? Absolutely unbelievable.

I made a reservation online, and an associate called me to confirm and left a voicemail. I called back to confirm and reached his manager, Liz, who confirmed my reservation. However, when I showed up on time (10 minutes early) to my reservation, my reservation had been cancelled - seemingly due to a lack of communication between the manager and associate. This was my first experience with Hertz and will also be my last. Very disappointed.
