This Hertz location absolutely needs to be investigated—especially an employee named ANDREA (the first person sitting at the desk) . She is by far the most unprofessional rental agent I have ever encountered. She told me, verbatim, “you are a bum because you’re renting out a car.” Then she insulted my husband by saying he had no money because he used a secured credit card. Terrible experience at this Hertz location. When I picked up my rental, the driver’s seat already had burn marks and the car had a faint odor. I didn’t make it an issue because it wasn’t a big deal to me, and I even returned the vehicle cleaner than it was when I got it. But when I dropped it off, the lady who checked the car suddenly claimed it “smelled like smoke” and slapped me with a $500 smoking fee. They delayed my reservation 24hrs (they didn't have cars "available") and I paid for extra Ubers. Then they did not respect the price in the reservation and charged me 25% more after fighting (still fighting for the rest). I witnessed them doing the same things to 3 more clients in my brief time there! I'm AVOIDING at least that branch!
