Great business
I was in a car accident two months ago and I’ve had to get rentals on and off until my car and my son’s car has been ready to purchase. I frequently use this Hertz Because my company I work for prefers Hertz rentals. The woman who runs the Groton location is absolutely amazing! Professional courteous and very accommodating. Even with last minute reservations she always makes it work. I highly reccomend Hertz over enterprise any day. Terrible. Took an uber to the office the day before to confirm a car would be available for next day. This was after I made the reservation, just wanted to go there and be sure. We were driving 6 hours south the next day. Assured us everything was fine - then next day they DIDNT have a car for us even though we reserved one. Had to drive an unsafe vehicle and make a repair on the way home. Don't do business with them.
It was very fast and easy the employee was extremely polite and extremely helpful and extremely efficient, the car was perfect!!
The lady’s tone was abrasive, they close at noon can’t take debit cards without a 24 hour notice which came across a little prejudice, strict adherence to policy is great for everyone who’s not a customer so points for that I guess don’t fire her, she tried to bully be into buying the insurance, spoke like she owned the place but offered no solution, or advice or even positive attitude for the problem I was having with renting. Really wish there were cars available at my first choice. The entire experience was awful
