They are completely dishonest! Ive rented from Hertz multiple times and never had an issue! Reserved a truck for 3 days, quoted $157. (Average) Returned the truck on time, full of gas and clean. They then tried to charge my credit card for an additional $1000 and refused to return my deposit. Ive filed a formal complaint with the SC attorney General! Whom stated this non corporate location was already under investigation for deceptive business practices!
0 starts for that location… Very disappointing experience at the Hertz location at 420 N. Pleasantburg Dr in Greenville, SC today around 3 PM. I had a confirmed reservation through my insurance and even called ahead—manager assured me the vehicle would be ready. Upon arrival with my three children, the manager was not present and the front desk employee was dismissive and unhelpful.
