A reservation means nothing. The website will allow anyone to make a reservation regardless of how many cars are on hand. The entire time I was trying to rent a car the phone was ringing off the hook and the ONE employee answered calls while trying to help me which slowed down the process. After waiting for an hour I left. This is not a well run operation. Try your luck at the airport location.
Could never get a car. Everytime we tried all they had was electric.

I experienced a discriminatory, unprofessional, and disgusting experience with the manager, Nathan Settles, who was not aware and failed to comply with several of Hertz rental policies. I had a rental reservation through my insurance due to vehicle theft including my purse being stolen. When I went to initially pick up my rental car I was turned away by the manager because he stated that I could not use my temporary ID that was issued by the NC DMV.
