Quick with n problems. Scott at Rodeo Ford arranged for a loaner car for me while mine was being worked on. The lady who helped me get the car at Hertz did a great job, she did it again when I returned the car and got and me a ride immediately to go pick up my fixed car from the dealership. Unfortunately I forgot her name but hats off to her for providing quality service.
They gave me a cheap Nissan with no functioning CarPlay (cable connection is not working), when you google it, it seems to be a usual defect for this model, but they wanted to blame it on my phone! Update; I made a new reservation to get rid of the Nissan. Came in to swap the cars, only to be told the other one is still in cleaning, although I arrived 30‘ past pick up time (within grace period) only to be told, that the lady at the desk already gave it to someone else. For one the vehicle I had reserved they didn’t have. I made this reservation weeks in advanced and they gave me something that wasn’t even comparable. I reserved an electric car and was given a Nissan rouge. The little Latino worker at the front stated the system lets you reserve any car but doesn’t mean that’s what you’re going to get. Which is total BS, there’s no way that someone who rents a minivan is going to be given a Nissan versa? This is the second time this rental company let me down. The website let me schedule a rental at 5pm and when I got there early the door was locked. The employee clearly seen me attempt to open the door where she turned off the lights and refused service. I'm just glad that I had a backup reservation with Budget and it wasn't an urgent matter. Smh.
Staff are very unhelpful and will hang up on you if you ask for their corporate number. First time renting at Hertz and will be my last. I’ll stick to Enterprise from now on.
