Worst store in Australia, could go as far as to say world wide. Had to change a car 3 times, first one stunk of cigarettes, and was told that’s all we have, then windscreen wipers didn’t work and I had to drive to a mechanic in my time to get this repaired on their behalf, then another vehicle had a after market review mirror which rattled and was unable to see a thing out of, then gave me a dirty car after giving them 2 days notice that I’ll be returning the vehicle with issues. I want to highlight the excellent customer service I received from Luca. He is first class. A total stand out. Perfect people skills plus offering assistance in many ways. Helping me with Uber queries (over and above his Hertz duties) also providing a connection for my depleted phone battery.
I was involved in a rear-end accident, where the other driver accepted full responsibility. I was not at fault. I returned the rental car just a few hours after renting and provided all required documentation immediately. Despite this, my bond has not been refunded, and I received no refund for the unused rental period. Emails were ignored. Phone calls went unanswered.
