Had a rental for noon and when we got there today 7/11 at 11:45 they were closed and we didnt get our rental. All the 800 # tells me to call the store that im standing g outside of wirj another family tryingto pick up their fental also

Hi, I never thought I would experience such poor service from Hertz and have to write a review like this. I had a 6:00 PM appointment that I booked one day in advance, and I arrived about 5 minutes early. Despite having a confirmed appointment, the employee (a bald gentleman) closed the door in our faces without any courtesy, explanation, or attempt to assist us. If I could, would give 0 stars. The staff is extremely unprofessional, rude, aggressive with customers. I was overcharged and the staff there was not able to assist at all and instead over complicated things by being rude and dismissive. The lady named Emilia who should have been helping me disappeared into the back office and never came back out. I caught her peeking to see if I was still there and closed the door! I’d love to give zero stars! I had my car reserved weeks before rental day. I get a call and voicemail the day before my pick up stating I need to search around they will not have my car. (I didn’t hear this message til I was on the way to pick it up)… so I call, a lady answers and says yes ma’am we WILL have your 7 passenger vehicle ready for you. I had a very disappointing experience at this Hertz location. On July 1, I was able to rent a vehicle using the same driver's license without any issues. When I returned on July 6/7 (or the correct date), I had a reservation and explained that my license expires on July 9 and that I only needed the car until July 8. Despite this, the staff refused to honor my reservation. What was most disappointing was the inconsistency.
