This place sucks. The ONLY good thing is MAYBE the price. Otherwise, the staff goes above and beyond to do the BARE MINIMUM. They are absolutely no help, offer no avenue if you made a mistake or happen to misinterpret/misunderstand the agreement. Can’t Understand Normal Thinking is common at this place. 1st time ever renting a vehicle and now I’m considering flying an hour if I can’t drive my own. Unbelievable. Horrible service, horrible experience. Had to put a star just to leave the review. Didn’t want to.
first car smelled so bad of smoke. I got a headache just from sitting in it for a min. So then we go exhange it for another car. The second car literally had mud and dog poop in the back. I don’t understand how this could happen two times to me. I tried to tolerate the poop smell for the second car but i just couldn’t. So we went to go back and exchange it and then they charged me $14 to do that. We wanted to get to the hospital right away because my mom’s aunt had a stroke and will be dying in a few days. I enjoy renting from Hertz. Anita at the front desk was so helpful and professional much better than DTW location. I’ll be returning again

After a disappointing experience with enterprise that left me last minute without a rental car we ended up at MBS airport still in desperate need. Hertz had a vehicle available and I was on my way in under 5 minutes. Thanks guys for saving the day!
