After a disappointing experience with enterprise that left me last minute without a rental car we ended up at MBS airport still in desperate need. Hertz had a vehicle available and I was on my way in under 5 minutes. Thanks guys for saving the day!
No issues with the vehicle itself, but the customer service was extremely disappointing. The desk agent was condescending and unprofessional—easily the worst I’ve encountered in nearly a decade of renting cars from Hertz as Five Star member. I was lectured about calling ahead despite having a confirmed reservation. This was a corporate booking, yet the agent pushed an unnecessary insurance discussion, repeatedly stressing my personal liability even after I provided proof of corporate coverage. We were stuck in Frankenmuth, MI and we were frustrated after car rentals (Enterprise) let us down by offering something they could not deliver. I don't know who was at the desk that helped my husband but whoever you are that found us a minivan...you are an angel! We safely made it home with all four of our beautiful boys! I cannot say enough about your easy service and your helpful nature! You helped out a stressed out family in need!
