There's a reason Hertz goes bankrupt and it all comes down to the shady business model. I was a gold member of there rental program and rented a car for 2 days prepaying it. Toward the end of the second day I realized I would need the car one more day so I called and asked if I could extend the rental. I was told I could but the rental fee for the third day would be more which made perfect sense because I wasn't prepaying it. When I return the car the total seemed excessively high. Small place , tough to find if you don’t get out of your car asking around. No signage anywhere. The gentleman is extremely wonderful.and accommodating.

I had to suddenly rent a car while getting my car fixed. It was my first time working with Hertz Freehold and Ted, and he was the so very helpful and understanding. He got me in a car that fit my budget that very same day (a cute little black Chevy Spark!) and really went out of his way to accommodate my unpredictable schedule. He's had a lot of experience working with cars, and he truly cares about his customers. I highly recommend giving him a call whenever you're looking for a rental near Freehold!

Super helpful and accommodating was this location. I was very satisfied with the efforts by Ted and his team regarding my rental. I’ll be back and glad I came across great customer service.
