Vehicle had a quarter tank of gas, trash, dog hair and the rear windshield wiper fluid hose was disconnected. They said their bay is frozen shut so they can’t clean cars like they aren’t capable of picking up trash out of a vehicle in the parking lot…?
Went to pick up our car today, said the car they have for us is available but smells like weed. Obviously, I didnt want that one but the other car available was getting a oil charge no problem call me when its ready. No call walked in and was greeted with " Oh sorry I didnt call" get assigned a car and it is extremely dirty outside and in, service light on was told it just needs reset, but doesn't offer to reset it. I rented a vehicle for a one-way trip from Chicago Airport to Fort Wayne Airport. When I arrived, there was no Hertz location in the Airport and instead I found that the closest location was behind the airport at Fort Wayne Aero. I thought that this was a simple misunderstanding and though a minor inconvenience, I could manage. The Vehicle was returned at that location before end of contract on Friday 1-23-26 before 10am.
