Very easy and convenient rental experience. Our vehicle was what we requested, was clean and drove well. Would definitely rent from Hertz Fort Wayne on West Coliseum again.
Reserved a Ford Transit Van for family travel. When I showed up, they told us they gave our van away to a different couple 10 mins before because they didn't want their reserved car anymore. Therefore, they gave it to us instead. It was a Chevy van, painter's style, caked in mud all on the inside floor. Uncomfortable seating - nothing like the transit van would have been. not a good experience with Hertz. My reservation was not available. A upgrade was my only option instead of honoring my reservation confirmation. My total turn in was $400. more than what I reserved and then the dates for my return was not correct. I contacted Hertz Customer service on the 30th and was told I would receive reimbursement for the difference of the rental and my original confirmation.
