They cancelled my reservation three hours before I was scheduled to pick up the car. Said they do not have any cars available. No cars available? Then do not accept the reservation. What a way to screw with someone. Avoid this place.
I literally have had it with Hertz! Every time I have a reservation, 2hours before pick up they call and cancel saying vehicle isn’t available.. very frustrating and inconvenient. I don’t even know how they are functioning as a business if they never have the vehicles that are reserved weeks and months in advance!
Will never rent from hertz again. They charged $70 because they didn't have the reserved car available. They the car was filthy and had an odor. Literal trash on the backseats and floor. The manager at the coliseum location has a very nasty attitude.

Be sure to triple check your rental agreement. Like someone else mentioned, they are good with distracting you with conversation. The rep left to get the car and it took almost 20mins to find it. He hand me the keys and the car is filthy and had writing on it like it had been impounded before. But the kicker was the gas. The tank wasn't full, I only realized this once I had drove away.
