I rental from hertz all the time for the past 30yrs when I go on Vacation or even local. I reserved my rental a week before arriving for Vacation in Florence SC. Went to hertz to pick up the vehicle I reserved i added roadside assistance & their insurance. I was told at the counter that I needed to use my own insurance as well & I needed the declaration page & insurance card in paper form. I only carry liability on my vehicle because it's paid for.
