My experience with Hertz the last few times I’ve rented has been amazing. The first time I went back in January, the customer service was top tier. Although I had to swap cars, the team made it right and provided me with an upgrade, which I really appreciated. The second time I went, it initially seemed like they weren’t going to be able to get me into a vehicle, but they went the extra mile to make an accommodation and still provided me with a car. What a lifesaver! My sister's car broke down, not even 10 minutes leaving Christmas Eve service. We went to Enterprise, thinking we had a vehicle because we reserved it on line. Nope, no cars. They checked surrounding areas, no cars. Went to all the ones in the airport, no cars. Called around, no cars. This came up last ditch effort, had 2 vehicles left. TERRIBLE! TERRIBLE! Rental place ever ! I had my rental for 4 weeks paid every 2 weeks. On the 4th week upon returning car VACUUMED & CLEANED ! They charged my card 1,035.00 saying they made a mistake by clicking wrong button. They are only trying to refund $700 back saying they gonna charge me 250 cleaning fee and keep the 200 deposit cuz it was proof of smoking but couldn’t show me no proof ! This place has been the worst. I’ve been twice to get a car. Once they didn’t have enough cars for the number of reservations, the other they tried to charge me three times the amount of the actual rental for charges that the local store deems necessary, but COOPERATE hertz does not. Avoid this place at all cost.
