Fairfield customer service was exceptional but 800 number was horrible and because of this we will NEVER recommend to anyone.

Rent from somewhere else!!! We prepaid for a one day one way rental. We authorized a charge for a one day Toll Pass, to get through the tolls around Chicago. When we returned the car, we were given the wrong location and had to call around to find out where we should actually drop it off. The agent did not process the return until the following Monday and we were charged for a three day rental and three days of Toll Pass, when we had the car for 22 hours only. Arrived to find someone else had been given the vehicle I reserved months in advance. After much discussion about how it wasn't his fault, blaming others, etc. the employee running the desk admitted he had given it to another customer to avoid inconveniencing that customer. This caused great inconvenience to me as a result. Don't expect your reservation to mean anything with Kareem working here.

The service I was provided from the rep was great. The issues I ran into are I originally reserved a midsize suv and was given a price of $575.41. I was given an offer to upgrade to a 5 passenger in which I did. That total was $654.32. I was able to reserve using a payment method that once I arrived to pick up I was told I wasn’t able to use for ANY vehicle.
