TERRIBLE! I recently had to rent a vehicle through Hertz in Escondido, arranged by AAA due to my personal vehicle being repaired following an accident. Unfortunately, my experience with this location was far from satisfactory. On the second day of the rental, a “change oil” warning appeared, indicating 0% oil life remaining. Worst rental experience ever! CIVO and Kimberly are absolutely the worst to deal with. They never answer the phone, and they upcharged us just for using the radio—how ridiculous is that?! We never even signed a contract because Kimberly never sent it to us, yet they’re still trying to charge extra. On top of that, they now refuse to take phone calls. Avoid this place at all costs! Mind you CIvo is the manager but doesn’t take management ownership smh
Terrible experience. My husband was dropped off to pick up his rental today to find out there was no car available for him and was told by the rude employee Sibo that he should have called before he came and what did he expect when he just made his reservation. Why would we be allowed to make a reservation if there were no cars available. I will be reporting this incident to AAA and if you think about going here dont and go to enterprise instead. Kimberly honestly needs a rise she made a car available for us even with her only being in office. Would recommend renting here
