Horrible customer service! I made a reservation here using insurance services as I was involved in a car accident. When I arrived no car was available, which I understood as I arrived 2 or 3 days after initial reservation. As alternative, the person helping me asked me to call the following day to set up pick up for a ride to the location. I followed instructions and called the following day on the time accorded, as right now I have called 10+ times, as I truly need a ride to pick up car. The pickup was awsome. Logan was helpful and offered a vehicle upgrade from an SUV at $330 to a minival for $488. Unfortunately Alex was the one at drop off. He told me to just leave the keys and that was it. Later I receive an email receipt showing charges of over $650. Alex charged me another $33 a day for the "vehicle upgrade" when it was already added in when we got the van.. make sure to stay and verify all charges before they close out the bill. I he'd a very bad experience. The person handling my rental was very rude I was given an alternate vehicle that what I reserved took for a drive and it was just too big and a gas hog I'm going on long trip he told me come back at noon he'll have vehicle for me when I get back he didn't and was even ruder than he was this morning. I will never rent from hertz again .
Logan and Alex are always so nice and helpful. I only come here to rent cars whenever I am in the Bay Area. Best Hertz location!
