Update, -5 if possible. I've never had my credit downgraded AT THIS HERTZ and refused a car before because I used debit card $500 deposit and I had insurance. Previous manager never did that. Then they charge me $35 for what? Don't go here, eventually they will find a way to take money from you for nothing and provide no service. My fault for coming back. Radio did not work, maintenance light on the whole time, run down location, dishonest employees.
Can you please tell us when you'll be opening? The sign on your door keeps giving a new date to open. And your website says you're open when clearly you're NOT! It is getting frustrating trying to make a reservation, and then your opening date is changed. And no I will not go to the airport to rent a car. I have been going to enterprise instead.
I've always had excellent customer service at the Hertz East Moline location. However, the office has been closed since March 20, 2025, and I miss having the convenience of a car rental service only a few blocks from where I live. Really hoping the East Moline location opens soon.
