I rented a car for a one-way trip to JFK with a full-to-full tank deal on the gas. As I realized when I filled up the tank before returning, they had given me the car with enough fuel so that the needle was plausibly at the upper end of the scale but really with about a quarter tank missing. Felt scammed. The car itself was fine otherwise. Edit: Went to Hertz customer service website as recommended. Chat does not lead anywhere, online form was not available („under construction, come back later“).
Guy billed me a bunch of extra fees and didn’t want to work/negotiate with me at all. Go to enterprise
