Went to rent a car today as I walked in there was a gentleman going off on the agent “John” or so he says his name is. Customer was complaining that they charged him for smoking in the car he was an older guy and said he doesn’t smoke he was charged over $600 . At that point I was questioning my decision. I was next in line everything was fine until they said I needed a second form of id. I said fine but I need a courtesy ride back home. He told me they don’t do that here. Good deals compared to the other rental places.
Told me they do not accept temporary licenses. Then I found the page on their website stating they do in fact accept them. The guy hung up on me.
The customer service at the Downers Grove Illinois location was rude and disrespectful. I was given a vehicle that had 0% oil life left and an 800 number to call customer service who never returned my call. Also, the vehicle was not cleaned properly before being re-rented out.
Had a great experience picking up my car today! Cruz was very helpful and patient answering my questions. The car is very nice! Just wish the car I was expecting was available because it is the same I have at home but the upgrade to the next available car is easy to drive! Thank you!
