Abyssal customer service from start to finish. My friend was in town, with her two small children & she expected to pick up her car in Brewster near the Southeast train station from an authorized Hertz dealer. After several hours of travel, she arrived to find that there were no cars & nothing that could be done, and zero solutions were presented. Hit an miss with them, used them plenty of the years and sometimes I don't have any issues at all and others, like today it's really annoying. Reserved a small sedan, they said I Reserved an electric, when I showed them prove on my email receipt, they said well it also says or similar, yeah when electric car has its own category it's not similar, if I wanted electric I would've chose electric. What a nightmare renting from this location, terrible customer service and care. I’ve been rented dirty cars with obscene smells and pet hair in them on more than one occasion, hours late for drop off. Been lied to and looked over. Will never rent with this company again, way to many chances. I would avoid.
The rental pickup experience at Danbury CT Tooley location was a pleasant experience! Great customer service provided by Dennis and Matt. I in/out of there in 5 minutes which is fantastic for a busy holiday weekend. And the vehicle they put me in is perfect for my weekend plans! Happy 4th of July!!!!
