They charge me a fee to clean the vehicle because of pet hair transfer from clothes. Thats part of something rental company need to understand if the rent vehicle because people have pets and they will transfer pet hair from there clothes to the vehicle. I have rented from Enterprise several times and never had a problem when it comes to a fee for pet hair being transfer from your clothes to rental vehicle. Hertz/Honda/PurCo & Toyota West are trying to pull a fast one and is committing fraud. Someone at Hertz office didn't do their job and they are trying to use scare tactics on me as the consumer. I had a rental covered by Toyota West while my car was in the shop for the warranty. Toyota west covered everything and made the reservation and said all I had to do was go pick up the car down the street at Honda where Hertz is located. I did, it was a 2025 highlander. If I could give them a zero, I would rate then a -10. Wife needed to get rental, called call center to reserve. When repairs on her car not needed, went to cancel in person at this location. Not only did they not have any cars nor did they even have any record of her reservation/confirmation, then they wanted to charge $150 cancellation!! For what, they had no cars or the reservation anyway. Incompetent, unprofessional, and fraudulent. Definitely need better signage and communication from the employees as to where their location is! I've been renting cars for insurance and personal reasons for 20 years and this is the only time the fuel wasn't filled up and the employee made it seem like it was such a hassle to document that I was not leaving with a full fuel tank! Those two gallons missing would've cost me every bit of 20 bucks!!!
