Hertz Columbus, Indiana deserves an award for turning a simple rental into a customer service horror story. The attitude of the front desk lady was unbelievable. I didn’t know “being rude for no reason” was included in the Hertz Columbus, Indiana experience. Front desk lady really acted like customers were a personal inconvenience.
Will charge for a full tank of fuel at drop off, even though the tank is filled up to where it was when the vehicle was picked up, and even though they don't actually put any fuel in the vehicle after charging you for the fuel. I picked up the vehicle from another Hertz location, which had slightly lass than 1/4 tank of fuel, and filled it back up to exactly 1/4 tank before dropping it off, yet they charged me for 10 gallons of fuel at a rate of $10 per gallon, plus 11% tax.
