Waiting at the collision center for pick up. Set up reservation online through State Farm. Hertz gave me a bogus confirmation number, which would not let me get past the bot, so no help from 800 number. Sand Key location (where I am supposed to getting tge car) does not answer the phone. Only chose Hertz, because it said they would deliver a car. Not true. They just pick you up. Totally ghosted by Hertz. Never again. How do you screw up this bad? RENT ANYWHERE BUT HERE. Shameful behavior and rude people. Charged us $75 for an exchange/gas fee for a car that wouldnt start and was a hazard to drive. Im sure they will find any reason to charge you money! Detailed story: Our car wouldnt start and had all dashboard lights on and blinking red(Problem common with Kia) We waited a few minutes to try again and the engine light was still on and the car wouldnt drive normally. Total scam place, rent somewhere else. The office looks abandoned and although they do returns at 3 they’re out of the office at 3 and don’t get the return until the next day, so they’ll charge a full extra day just because they’re lazy. Terrible
