make reservations with this company they tell you you do not need a credit card your debit card will work and then they ruin your vacation the day you go to leave with no major credit card

Be warned if you book with Hertz and pay in advance. If you cancel, they charge a $100 cancellation fee. Enterprise does not do this, and so I will not be renting from Hertz again. To be clear, I canceled the reservation 11 days in advance of the scheduled rental.

I was lied to three times at this location. I was told by Christina/Christine that you could rent with a debit card if you had booked 24 hours in advance. So she told me not to book and that she'd remember for when I came back the next day. I came back the next day. She said she couldn't recall what she literally told me the day before. Okay she's liar, great, so I tell her to proceed with the rental. I paid with debit card anyway on the machine although she stated I couldn't, she completely lied to my face, twice. This place was terrible from the get go. My wife just returned her car while her’s was at the dealership getting warranty work. They tried to charge her $400 cleaning fee when the car was not overly dirty, they then proceeded to tell her that her tire was low and she needed to go fill it up prior to returning it when this was their issue. Enterprise is so much easier to deal with and they have a way better selection, save yourself the trouble and go to enterprise.

Suddenly can’t do the pay now option, not coming back. If I’m going to have to pay later I’ll just go with enterprise because they’re way cheaper.
