This place was terrible from the get go. My wife just returned her car while her’s was at the dealership getting warranty work. They tried to charge her $400 cleaning fee when the car was not overly dirty, they then proceeded to tell her that her tire was low and she needed to go fill it up prior to returning it when this was their issue. Enterprise is so much easier to deal with and they have a way better selection, save yourself the trouble and go to enterprise.

Suddenly can’t do the pay now option, not coming back. If I’m going to have to pay later I’ll just go with enterprise because they’re way cheaper.

I’ve been renting from Hertz for almost 15 years, and the Chico Airport location is one of the best I’ve dealt with. The staff has changed over time, but I’m always happy with the team there. Christine has helped me many times—she’s super friendly, professional, and really thorough. Manny is another awesome team member who always greets me with a smile. They both go above and beyond to make things easy and pleasant. If you need a rental in Chico, definitely check out this Hertz. Great people and great service!
