The local manager told me he's working to make it better but the walk around should have been a red flag when the rental agent tried to argue with me that the dent in the picture was actually a design feature of the car. It went downhill from there: 1. Picked up the car got on my drive home the dash lights up service required, called the branch they said ignore it. 2..Called Hertz corporate closest replacement car is at Logan, so the call the branch and they say ok we will service it now. 3. Rented a car at another location- and had issues with a tire- they offered zero customer service without wanting to charge us for the tire- which had been an issue since the rental began. Maybe independently operated-but a horrible representation of the company and horrendous customer service- seems like unless I was willing to pay even more money- they couldn't help. I'd avoid at all costs -
Don’t answer the phone and you need to go through a 12 step process through a robot to even call them.
Not a Hertz fan but the customer service at this location is absolutely spot on. They go the extra mile to ensure every transaction is as smooth as possible.
We had warning lights come on in our rental as we were driving back towards Boston. The manager helped us to swap out vehicles in short order. The car that was available was an EV, and he went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable driving it. Really appreciate the help!!
