I reserved a vehicle with another company the day before my trip . They sent a text later advising that there were no available vehicles. I immediately went on the Hertz website to reserve a vehicle. I also called the local Hertz office here in Charlotte NC. Spoke with Associate Bill Jackson II. He was professional, engaged and provided great customer service and advised that they did have a vehicle for me. It was Mother's Day weekend. Hertz is a decent rental car company, but this particular location is terrible. They Give me an electric car that wouldn’t charge and the customer service is terrible . Plus they never have any inventory.
Telephone calls never go thru ! Staff told me to park at a spot away from the camera so my car was broken into in an attempt to steal my truck ! All my tools and personal belongings were stolen and vehicle were severely damaged ! No response from local management and staff whatsoever ! Even the police officers told me to stay away from this place due to high crimes !
