I had an excellent experience at the Hertz on N Tryon Street. The rental process was smooth, the car was clean, and everything was ready on time. The managers were very responsive and quickly helped me exchange a car when needed, making the whole process hassle-free. A special thanks to Jalen, who went above and beyond with his professionalism, clear communication, and customer-first approach. This location will definitely be my go-to for future rentals.

Poor booking system; office was closed when I came to pick up vehicle. This Hertz closes at 12:00pm sharp on Saturdays, which was my scheduled pickup time. I was running a little late but didn't think much of it considering they had sent an automated text AFTER that time, prompting me to continue confirming the reservation. If I could give zero stars, I would. This was, without question, the worst car rental experience I’ve ever had. First, I didn’t even get the car I reserved (We needed a specific vehicle to be able to load up work equipment). When I asked about it, I was told, “Well, it’s almost closing time, what did you expect?” I expected the car I reserved, clean and ready to go... not some random vehicle that hadn’t even been cleaned because the manager “locked up the vacuum early.” Completely unprofessional. Oh they suck real bad never by the phone and the last time i went they were never in there after couple hours and they dont issue refunds
