This place is truly horrid. All the negative reviews are true. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but immediately upon entering through the door I knew I made a mistake. Basically I called to confirm my booking several times and was reassured over the phone several times that everything was fine. Hertz is arguably one of the worst car rental businesses out there. I rented a car from them in Dallas 3 weeks ago and had a bad experience there as well. it is unfortunate that I was forced to use them due to the dealership and their agreement with Hertz. They gave me a car that reeks of smoke and and without giving me much time to do anything about it since I was in a rush.
