Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience. We booked the car two weeks in advance, but only 30 minutes before pickup, we were informed that no car was available and that there was nothing they could do. This caused a lot of stress and disrupted our travel plans. I understand that issues can happen, but the late notice and lack of support made the situation very frustrating. I hope they improve their booking and communication process in the future.

Was pretty wary of renting from this office based on the reviews, and have had a bad experience of Hertz in other countries, so I had pretty low expectations but frankly if you need a car in Byron there’s very limited choice. To my surprise the man that processed the booking was super friendly and helpful even though he was by himself and two other customers were also waiting. Even though I’d done the pre-checkout online it still took a few minutes (why do they all make their systems so complicated?!) but wasn’t too bad. Off... read more

I’m also leaving a positive review - as per the other recent review we had brilliant customer service from the team in Byron. We have met three different members of staff and they were all very helpful and friendly. They have a lovely office where you can speak to staff and get advice on rental options, then the pick up / drop off is done in person. Would definitely recommend.
