6 years later it is still not recommended Hertz location. Rented cars with a specific code for many years ant twice in the last few weeks with a clerk here deciding it is a wrong code and not honoring my reservation.

After having a poor experience at the airport Hertz, this location helped us out a lot! An employee named Jackson did an awesome job understanding our situation and kindly getting us squared away. His great customer service made a big impact on us!

I had a mixed experience with my rental from the Hertz location on Sheridan Drive in Buffalo. When I arrived to pick up the car, I was asked to wait about 15 minutes because the staff said they were finishing cleaning it. They told me the car was already clean and only needed a quick vacuum, which they did while I waited. However, when I received the vehicle, it was still not properly cleaned. Booked a Large Luxury Sedan for this vacation. Apparently they never had one available at this location EVER. This was not a sudden unexpected issue, simple bait and switch from the moment the reservation was made. First was offered an Elantra, no acknowledgement that I had booked a Large Luxury Sedan. Wound up with a Tucson. The rental clerk was friendly but Hertz left him out to dry as well. Do not book with Hertz!
