I am extremely disappointed with the service at Hertz – Brisbane Airport location. On Sunday, 15th February at around 12:00pm, we attended the office expecting professional and timely service. Instead, we experienced what can only be described as the most unhelpful and impolite customer service we have ever encountered. There were three staff members at the counters who were not assisting any customers. Reserved a car through priceline, they added a $300AU one way charge and a few other fees when I picked it up. My bill basically doubled. I had a flight get canceled, it was 9pm and I still had a 3 hour drive to my hotel so didn't see many other options that wouldn't ruin my vacation. I chose Hertz to avoid this type of thing, was very surprised and would avoid at all costs.
