I received a printed receipt at the time of returning the vehicle. Within 30 minutes, I had a digital receipt with an extra $200 fee on it for “outside cleaning”. After an hour of trying to reach anybody, I found the chat feature where they said there was “excessive pet hair”. Unfortunately for them…there wasn’t never an animal in that vehicle. I believe they made up a story to charge me $200. I never would have known except I checked the e-receipt even though I received a printed receipt. This is total fraud!
I recently rented a car from HERTZ Billy Bishop and had an outstanding experience from start to finish. The staff were friendly and efficient, making the pickup process a breeze. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with the service and would highly recommend.
