It wasn't Hertz, it was National. Great rental but these newer vehicles are useless with these auto stop and start engines.
I arrived at the counter late (just after midnight), due to a delayed flight. And prior to that, I had been flying all day long. Thank goodness that Rob, the manager, was kind and considerate enough to wait for me and hold a great vehicle for me! He turned a challenging day into a much better one! That's great customer service, and I'll definitely return as a result! Thank you!
Needed a Jeep Wrangler for the largest Jeep gathering called Smokey Mountain Jeep Invasion. Ours was in an accident before the event started so Hertz filled the bill with a Wrangler Rubicon. We had so much fun at the event in the Hertz Jeep and no one knew it was rented. We got plenty of compliments on it. Just wished that Hertz rented the Jeep Rubicon Gladiators.
Do not reserve, they won't have the car, force a Tesla on you, and charge 100$ to cancel it even if its on their end. Do not recommend.
I had an AMAZING experience with Robert and Becky, both very friendly, accommodating, professional and got me in my rental with no issues. Show up on time, be respectful, and be patient! It will reflect back.
