David was GREAT!!! But he was by himself and the Bethesda location was pretty busy. Not sure why Hertz didn’t place two people at that desk. David did the best he could to provide great customer service. I rented from him a lot and never had any issues with him. The location however, is not ideal, having to share street space with the hotel and having to walk far from the desk down to a parking lot to retrieve the cars… My biggest complaint is with Hertz. I was waiting more than 20 minutes at the counter calling on the radio and no one ever answered, this location closes at 5pm. the hotel staff realized how long I had been waiting. when David finally showed up at 5:07 and said that he just couldn't do anything and that he had been there a few minutes before, calling me a liar. When I said that I had been waiting for a long time, he said that he couldn't do anything anyway. terrible service.
Worst rental experience I've had - went to return the car and there were simply no staff members. Multiple customers waiting to return their car and no one was available. Go elsewhere.
