We recently hired a vehicle from Hertz Ballina. Unfortunately someone had damaged the vehicle in a car park we believe. It was a small dent on the drivers door. We weren't certain the dent wasn't already there so we accepted responsibility and agreed to pay the repair bill which they had provided a quote for. Following the repair we were asked to pay an additional amount because the repair cost had increased due to 'unforseen circumstances'. I was late for the bus after arriving at the airport, so I decided to book a rental car. Such a seamless experience. The lady at the counter was really nice and helpful. She took me to the parking area and showed me the car and its key features. The hybrid toyota camry was well-maintained. The process of returning the key and receiving bond refund was efficient. Thank you.

Awful experience with Hertz. We were given a “Chery” Omoda car with a flat tire… did no one inspect the car before lending it out? The car had front-facing infant seat, despite confirming multiple times that we needed a rear-facing one for our baby. After waiting far too long for someone to address the issue, we finally got a new car… the car seat was improperly installed, and my husband had to reinstall it himself. This was not the stress-free start we hoped for on our first family holiday. Next time, I’ll bring my own car ... read more
