If I could give 0 stars, I would. This was the worst rental experience I’ve ever had. From the moment I arrived at Hertz, everything went wrong. When I went to pick up my rental, there was a long line and not enough staff — multiple customers were waiting far too long just to be helped. After finally getting my car, another customer came outside saying the vehicle I was given was actually supposed to be theirs. My bad experience with this location was as follows: the vehicle was dirty outside and needed to be washed, it was half full of gas, the windows (both inside and out) were not cleaned, the car smelled, and there was a limited variety to choose from, etc.

Outstanding customer service! I traveled into Alexandria on the Amtrak and my train was running late. I called ahead of time because I was worried I wouldn’t make it in time to get my rental car. And Gabe made sure that I could get my car and stayed late. Him and Midhoney are angels. I was even able to ride back to the Amtrak on their shuttle as I was leaving. I so appreciate you guys! Thank you guys!
The team at this Hertz location was awesome! They went above and beyond to help me get my vehicle. They had to go all the way to the airport to get me a car. They were extremely nice and provided fast service.
