I would give negative stars if I could. This was my 2nd trip out of 4 total to Midland, TX MAF airport that I rented from Hertz and had this issue. I provided my flight information when booking so, the vehicle should have been available in advance of my arrival. Both time I had to wait for a vehicle. This time, I had to wait well over an hour for a vehicle. Over a dozen people were in line waiting as well. The wait to receive my booked rental took almost 3 hours.
They obviously do not understand what a reservation is! Made a reservation a week ago, arrive at the airport to find they have no cars to rent! THEN I asked if they could call the other locations and I'll Uber over there and they said no!
Worst employees ever becareful they lie and change prices on you.
I reserved a car and Hertz didn’t honor it. When I arrived, they told me my vehicle wasn’t available and forced me into an “upgrade” at nearly 150% of my reservation price. Other customers at the same counter were treated the exact same way. This felt intentional, like a scheme to gouge people who had no other choice. One of the most dishonest, exploitative interactions I’ve ever had with any company. Never again.
