I rented a car, and it was a very bad experience. The line to get out of the garage was very, very long. There was only one person working. I told her that she should ask for help, and she said that she did 45 minutes ago, but no one came. It was a very bad experience. It seems Hertz Corporation is getting rid of people for AI. The final bill didn’t match the estimate. After many emails with customer service, I discovered that there are hidden fees they add to the final invoice. Don’t trust the estimate number.

Had an absolutely awful experience with Enterprise today so got a refund and had to quickly find another option. Hertz came through absolutely clutch and Joe was awesome!!

Upon returning the vehicle we were charged a outside washing fee of $75. The car was spotless. I caught it on our receipt and called the customer service only to get a AI chatbot who kept telling me the $75 charge is not an outside wash fee when it clearly states it on the receipt. I asked for a operator and placed on hold for about 30 minutes. Just gave up. I will never rent from Hertz if possible again. Never charged this before from any other rental company.

It’s a joke. They don’t care about you or how much you paid or what membership level you are. You’ll get what you get and wait however long it takes regardless of your reservation and if you’re upset might as well just roll over in the street. They really don’t give a crap about their customers. They respond to reviewers with a fake sorry you had a bad experience response and then the executives of this company will still make millions off your bad experiences.
